    Something to share :
Just noted the following tuition discount plan from Northwestern State University.
Their online Bachelor should be among the cheapest now.

"...For students who attend NSU exclusively online:

Undergraduate: $325 per credit hour up to 12 hours, then $100 per credit hour thereafter*

Graduate: $425 per credit hour up to 9 hours, then $100 per credit hour thereafter*

*Additional course and/or professional fees may be assessed as applicable

INTERNET-ONLY STUDENTS DO NOT PAY ANY OUT-OF-STATE FEES.

So is that per semester? Or for your total degree enrollment?

My guess is that it resets each semester, so you pay for 9 hours at the high rate and then the rest at the low rate each term.

If it's for the entire program then that is an awesome bargain, and I'm going to enroll tomorrow! They have some nice programs.

I don't understand how this is a good deal. First, is "$325" per credit hour really so low? Second, I have seen many schools that set a fixed tuition rate for any student studying between 12 and 18 credits, which might as well be called "pay for 4 classes, take 2 extra for free", but this deal still charges extra money for those courses beyond 12 credits.

It's only a good deal if you pay the higher rate for the first 9 hours of the entire program and $100 per hour for the remainder. If it's the first 9 hours of each semester then it's nothing special.
