I'm investigating getting another degree in CS or a graduate certificate and saw this thread. I haven't been on here in about 11 yrs but I'll briefly mention my experience. I quit a good job at AT&T at 24 yrs old because I had hit a ceiling with my career. I gave myself 1 yr to finish my undergrad and I had 60 credits to go. I went to Georgia State University in person and took a total of about 14 CLEP, Dantes, and ECE exams and finished just in time a year later and was accepted to Georgia Tech's full time MBA program. I transferred all my credits to Thomas Edison and received a BA in Psychology. My first year at Georgia Tech I started a business for a business plan competition class that was subsequently invested in by a major silicon valley VC. For those wondering if TESC can get you into a good graduate program the answer is absolutely yes assuming you have a good GPA and solid test scores. What you do from there is up to you.
Welcome back.. Eleven years is a long time. My advice: Get plenty of sleep and try to eat better. You're not eating nearly enough fruit and vegetables. Also, go for a jog a few times a week. That's it for me.
I wrote that from my tablet and thought I was responding to the Success Stories sticky. Whoops. I'll copy the message to that thread. If an admin sees this you can kill this thread. Thanks for the comments!
