    Hello,

    I hope my questions are not a repeat of questions that have been asked before so I apologise if so. I've spent hours looking over this forum and doing research online and thought it better just to ask my questions here.

    I've recently graduated with an MBA while overseas at a US based school. Now that I'm back in the US, I'd like to obtain a degree focusing along the lines of entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation but would rather take classes online. Many of the entrepreneurship programs I've found so far are part of an MBA, which I do not want to repeat again.

    I'm specifically looking for a program where I can learn at my own pace, has at least some name recognition, preferably under $15k at the very most, might take some of my prior coursework as credits, will work with federal financial aid and possibly have a b&m presence. I'd love to find a school that has a UK/European presence but I've not had much success finding one that has a DL program that will work with US financial aid.

    I know these might be a lot of things to ask for in a program so I am open to any and all suggestions that might come close to my preferences. It's been somewhat confusing try to sift through all the programs available. APU seems to have a good program despite not having a campus so I have them on my list. Thanks in advance for any comments.

    Most likely not close to $15K, but if name recognition is important, you can do worse than the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business;

    Online Program | MS - Entrepreneurship | Warrington

    Less well known, but Everglades University is still RA (Southern Association);

    Get Your Master?s degree in Entrepreneurship Online or On-Campus - Everglades University

    If NA is acceptable, Anaheim University (DEAC) offers a Master of Entrepreneurship;

    Hi Newheights, and welcome!

    Out of curiosity, why do you want this? If your goal is to start a business, then whatever is important that you didn't learn in your MBA program you should be able to pick up pretty quickly and cheaply from a variety of different non-academic sources. If your goal is something else, then what's your attraction to the study of entrepreneurship?

    Lately I've used Udemy to learn. I caught the last $10 promotion they ran and signed up for 5 courses. I highly recommend them.

    I also talked to UNK in July about their post-bachelor certificate in entrepreneurship. Their program is 24-hrs and cost about 10k.

    Thanks so much for the responses so far.

    There's a few reasons I'm looking into this degree. I thoroughly enjoyed my MBA experience and through it, I now know I want to either work for myself or an entrepreneurial start-up type venture.

    My MBA was broad, as it should be, but I'd like to get more focused education on strategy, leadership, etc and how to put these theories into practice. I think it could possibly give me an edge over other candidates for certain positions and would help me immensely if I do go into business for myself or get into consulting. I know I could get much of this education "along the way" with experience but if I can find an inexpensive degree program, I'd like to consider it as well.

    This board has been amazing, I've literally spent days looking through post to do research so I can narrow down my choices.

    As of now, I'm considering going with either APU, Walden, Liberty or Stratford. APU and Liberty have great price points, although I'm aware that Liberty's classes might have a religious focus. I really like Walden's format yet they're a bit expensive. However, they offer good certificate programs. I really like Stratford's courses for the MS in Entrepreneurship program but it might also be too expensive at 54 credits. I know there have been several post in regards to which school is better versus the other but if anyone has any opinions about or recent experience with the schools I've listed, I'd more than welcome the comments.

    Also, a few recruiters have mentioned that I should consider a DBA program. I know this brings more money into the school but are there good reasons for considering this in the future instead of a second Masters if my purpose is to get into consulting, run my own business, or obtain a high level position, or is the DBA geared towards teaching?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hello! I'm Ted Heiks. As you can see I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 12,000 to 13,000 posts. Which makes me the champion poster here. And I became one of the mods after being the first to break the 10,000 barrier. And youy can see that I have an MBA in Entrepreneurship. Unfortunately, City U abolished their MBA in Entrepreneurship shortly after I graduarted. If you click on my name annd click on View Forum Posts, you can see that I like to make very long and useful degree lists. One of my long and useful degree lists is callewd The Best MBA and it is over in the Business and MBA Degrees subforum. When you open that thread you will saee that at the top of each post it says From the Great State off... and it goes alphabetically from Alabama to Wyoming. Then you will noticwe that after the From the Great State of... heading, there are alphabetivcal lists of every school in the state that offers online MBA (or business related MA and MS) degrees, with school name, website, majors/concentrations, hourly tuition,ours to degree, total program tuition, and accreditations, so you can tease out all the entrepreneurship master's degrees. Have fun searching.

    Hey, wait a minute! I see you already have an MBA. iF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR ONLINE DOCTORASL STUDIES (SORRY ABOUT THE ALLCAPS), there are four online entrepreneurship doctorates: California Intercontinental University (NA only), Regent University, the University of the Rockies, and Walden University.

    Oh, there's also a thread called GOOD Entrepreneurship Degrees, which takes in associate's, bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees. But it is less detailed than my MBA Sticky.

    If you're interested in social entrepreneurship, there's an old thread on that, too.

    If you are looking only for a very good Entrepreneurship education, it would be hard to beat the Certificate in Entrepreneurship from University of Virginia in Partnership with Tarkenton. 100-hour MBA level education, faculties are world class from UofV MBA program and all this at 425$ with this offer : http://tarkenton.org/frans-team-offer/

    I have no affiliation with them.

    Looks like it's actually the University of Georgia, but still a great find.

    He was a pretty good quarterback, too.
