Thanks to this site, I finished my BS! It was tough but I'm glad I finished! I currently work in Tax and wanted opinions on MS in Tax from either Golden Gate University vs Nova Southeastern University. Reason for those 2 schools is because of the tuition discount they give for government employees. I'm from the west so GGU makes sense but I see that Nova Southeastern hasn't given up on AACSB as they still have it listed as a goal within the next 5 years on the brochures. I'm having a hard time figuring out which school to go to. Tuition is about the same with discounts so I figured I'd ask for some advice on this. (On a side note, I haven't visited this site in a while but I am getting pop up ads from this website every so often..just thought I'd bring that up). Thanks all! Don't know what I would have done without this site.
Well, on the one hand the NSU Women's Soccer Team is not very good. On the other hand, GGU doesn't even have a team so I'm going with the NSU Sharks.
I have not familiar with Golden Gate University, but my best friend earned his undergraduate degree there. Now, he is working for the Department of Education in Washington D.C, after 5 years they allow him work remotely from Southern California with frequency travel. I assume they do have good reputation in the Government sector. I am currently a student at Nova Southeastern University. My college is sharing the same building with NSU's business school. They have a nice campus and new facilities. I have been there at least 10 times for my residencies. With the discount I would go with NSU, I am not a bias in this situation. But with the name Golden Gate University, I just do't like the name sounds.
After some thought, I'm leaning toward Nova just because of the accreditation factor. I saw that Nova just received NASPAA and the business school looks good. Thank you for the responses. I greatly appreciated that.
