I will complete my MA English from NAU in December, with actual conferral in the Spring of 2016.

However, registration for UNISA for Fall 2016 is occurring Sept/November 2015.

So, do I go ahead and apply for admission to UNISA with documentation about the MA, or do I need to wait for admission for 2017, which would take place Sept/November 2016?

I have emailed the departments I am interested in working with, including the international student office, but no answers are available.

    Does anyone have advice?

    Thank you!

You haven't said specifically which degree you'd be applying for at UNISA (PhD, English?) but, strictly speaking, you do not need a Masters degree to apply for a Doctoral degree. Be sure that your research proposal is very tight and that it is within the realm of at least one of the current instructors research interests. Be sure to include your Masters transcripts to date along with prospective graduation date. In short, I recommend that you forge ahead. The application fee is so small that you've really nothing to lose.
