Penn State Ed Tech Certificate

In the mail today I received information about a program at Penn State. It is a certificate in Educational Technology Integration. From my take of the program, it's geared toward teachers and trainers (but mostly public school teachers).

There are six courses available and you need to complete five of the six to get the certificate. If you live in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, taking all six of the courses will qualify you for certification as a technology specialist (a designation from the PA Department of Education).

The courses are a combination of CD-ROM, online, print, and other media.

Cost: $951 per course. Considering what some DE programs cost, that's not too bad (if you take into account the small number of courses).
