    Have you considered commenting on the articles you post instead of simply providing a link and select quotes from the article?

    I am not surprised at all by the content of that article. Soaking up Tuition Assistance and GI Bill funds is big business.

    UoP will always go after those GI Bill/TA dollars. I learned about UoP back in 2000 at the Navy College office. The counselor I talked to was really pushing them hard too.

    It's an interesting study on contrasts. I remember how heavily UofP was pushed. Meanwhile, if you asked other people on base they would almost all recommend American Military University or a few others. For a time, when I was stationed overseas, there were a dedicated handful of people who insisted on Grantham (DEAC).

    I think the school that was pushed the hardest (this would have been between 2001 and 2005) was UMUC, though. Counselors loved it. Sailors loved it. And we almost always had a UMUC professor on base teaching in-person classes.
