Southern Christian University is now offering a Ph.D. in Family Therapy with a small portion being offered through distance ed.

From their website: Although a majority of courses to be offered in this new program will be taught in traditional classroom and clinical formats, a small percentage will be delivered via synchronous distance learning where video and audio are sent over the Internet to students in real time (at the time the course is being held) and on demand (after the course is presented for review or to see a missed class). The University has a sophisticated, state-of-the-art video and audio recording system linked to cameras and microphones in every classroom. It is of equal importance to note that SCU is one of the original 15 institutions selected by the U. S. Department of Education as a Distance Education Demonstration Institution. The only other institution in the region participating in the Distance Education Demonstration Institution is Florida State University.

Liberty University is also offering a similar program, a Ph.D. in Counseling/Pastoral Care. The LU program is rather new.
