New German online university

    That is an intriguing concept, indeed, but I wonder how they will move forward with getting accreditation. I look forward to hearing more in the near future!

    OK, here is an update.
    First of all, the name has changed. It's now called Kiron University. (https://kiron.university) That's not surprising since there is a different "Wings" on the German higher education market, the online school of Wismar University of Applied Sciences, a public university in the German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. (Here is the website, but there is no English version: https://www.wings.hs-wismar.de/)

    Kiron University has also launched a crowdfunding campaign: https://www.startnext.com/en/kironuniversity
    Last week, the Independent had an article about it.
