    Kizmet,

Just curious, what is "University of Monica" in your signature?

I think that every engineering program on the Masters level is going to have prerequisites that would be difficult to satisfy without having earned a engineering Bachelors. You could, however, have an English BA and then take the Calculus, Physics, etc. courses necessary as prep for application to a Masters program. People do such things for medical school. They decide after having earned their Bachelors degree that they want to apply to med school so they take the necessary courses to qualify them for application. Some schools offer entire programs just for that purpose (it doesn't guarantee admission though).

I think BSc in Engineering provides a higher math and science classes so when one is progressing in to Masters degree program they are capable and possibly better prepared for the higher math in the MSc. Eng.

If you can identify the meaning I'll give you a bunch of degreeinfo sweetpoints. Hint: It's related to the photo.

Texas A&M's online petroleum engineering program used to accept people with other degrees heavy on math and science, but they now require an engineering degree. More specifically, they have a preference for undergraduate degrees in petroleum engineering.

I think this is the right way.
I think Business degrees should be the same, BBA should be pre req for MBA.
    Like they do in canada.

Is this open for everyone?:dunce:(highlight text below between --- lines if so)
    -----------------------
Æon Flux (2005) from the cartoon/comic series in 1990s.
The protagonist pictured is a spy with various "training" or "education" from the nation of Monica. The true meaning might be harder. Is the "University of Monica" refers to our near-dystopian education system? Is it referring to the author's education? Is it referring to what some or most education system rain us for (assassination)? IS it about the recycled DNA that allows "remembering"? Could be multiple paths...

It was only when I clicked my "reply with quote" button that I saw that our friend and member jhp has correctly guessed the answer. The photo is of actress Charlize Theron in her role as Aeon Flux. People who know this story in it's various incarnations will remember that Aeon Flux is an assassin from the country of Monica. So, of course, she went to the University of Monica. Get ready for some sweetpoints jhp!
Let's see who I'll be next.

I won! I won! I won! I do not need to finish my engineering degree from University of California - Riverside! I can live off of my sweetpoints!

Is this the same as Bourns College of Engineering: Academic Programs ?

    (What are sweetpoints, again?)

I haven't figured out what sweetpoints are exactly but I'm going to give you some. Maybe I can figure out how to turn them into real currency, like bitcoins. I'm also trying to decide on my new identity. So many choices . . .

I am inventing a silly game. I am going to change the photo and the university in my sig line. Whoever can identify the character in the photo and the relevance of the university name will be awarded the sweetpoints. Sweetpoints are intangible karma sparkles that are redeemable at the time of your reincarnation for more favorable life circumstances. So it's definitely worth playing this silly game. I'm going to create a new sticky thread in the Off-Topics forum "Who's in Kizmet's Sig Line?" All answers and awards will happen there. The next shift happens tonight. Stay tuned.
