I posted this in another thread but thought I might post it here for anyone who is interested.

Family Radio offers a number of courses for free (do not beg you for money). You can earn a certifcate or an Associates in Religious Education. That is the only degree they offer. They are not accredited and note the courses are only for personal enrichment. Courses range from New Testament to Hebrew and Greek courses. Exams are multiple choice and essay.

If you do not have any money this is an interesting opportunity to do some biblical studies for personal enrichment.

Note: The chairman of FR is Harold Camping who is a little odd. Newest thing is promoting that we have entered the age for Christians to come out of the organized church. This has resulted in some pastors starting a web site called Familyradioiswrong. A Pastor told me that some of the FR people sort of tolerate H. Camping's quirkiness and go on about their business. He is also very Reformed theologically (or his version) as opposed to arminian.

    Re: Free courses

    Hey North,

Do you know anyone qualified to check the Greek courses offered? It'd be a great opportunity to study some Greek for free, if the courses are well done.

    Thanks,

    Re: Re: Free courses

I suspect that the Greek Courses are not transferable NOR necessarily the equivalent of RA/TRACS/AABC Greek courses.

I tend to think of them as continuing education type courses.
