I am applying to MBTS and a couple other schools with modular/week intensive classes. But can anyone give me an unbiased opinion of MBTSs' reputation? Is it as respected as Southern for instance? Thanks!

I believe Midwestern is home to Spurgeon's collections. I know the president came over from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. It seems like a great seminary. The new president brought over a lot of faculty members. Before his arrival, they were definitely more Arminian-minded. It seems they are mixed with Calvinists and Arminians now.

Midwestern is a very good school. Among Southern Baptists, Southern will win out in terms of name recognition.
