Don't forget the Sun Devils are eyeballing the Lone Star state market. Earn your degree on Texas time with ASU. | ASU Online Degree Programs | Arizona State University. I love listening 99.5 country station of Dallas, but I have heard ASU Texas designation commercial almost every single day. If ASU offers Texas resident for in-state tuition; it would be a great deal.

Another ASU wasn't included on the list. I completed my master's at Angelo State University.

This isn't comprehensive, but you can use this website to search for online degree programs in Texas. There are too many community colleges in Texas that offer online degree programs to list.

    http://www.txelectroniccampus.org/

If that website isn't kept up to date, you can search for programs in Texas using the website for SREB.

    https://secure.electroniccampus.org/

There is also the Virtual College of Texas where students at one community college can search for online courses at another community college and take them at an in-district rate.

I advise anyone who is looking for online degree programs to look at all of the public schools in each system. At least 90% of them offer online degree programs. The public university systems in Texas are

University of Houston System: University of Houston, University of Houston - Downtown, University of Houston - Clear Lake, University of Houston - Victoria

University of North Texas System: University of North Texas and University of North Texas at Dallas

University of Texas System: University of Texas at Arlington, University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas at Brownsville, University of Texas at Dallas, University of Texas at El Paso, University of Texas at San Antonio, University of Texas at Tyler, University of Texas at Permian Basin, and University of Texas - Pan American

Texas A&M University System: Texas A&M International University, Texas A&M - College Station, Texas A&M - Commerce, Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, Texas A&M - San Antonio, Texas A&M - Kingsville, Tarleton State University, Prairie View University, Texas A&M - Texarkana, West Texas A&M University, and Texas A&M - Central Texas

Since these weren't included in the OP, I'll link to the distance learning options at Prairie View and Tarleton.
Tarleton State University Global Campus | Online Degree Programs That Prepare Texan Leaders to Change the World - Tarleton State University
    http://dl.pvamu.edu/programs/Pages/default.aspx

Texas State University System: Texas State University, Sam Houston State University, Lamar University, and Sul Ross University

Texas Tech University System: Texas Tech University and Angelo State University

Independent Universities: Midwestern State University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas Southern University, and Texas Woman's University

In addition to Central Texas College, there are two community college systems I've found notable for their distance learning options: Alamo Community Colleges (San Antonio College, Northwest Vista, Palo Alto, and St. Philip's) and Lone Star College System. You can probably also find a lot of options at the community colleges in the large cities/counties/regions: Austin Community College, Dallas County College System, Tarrant County College District, and Houston Community College.
