French Distance Learning Courses at UNO

Does anyone here on this DB have any experience taking the French distance learning courses offered at the University of New Orleans? Were the courses academically rigorous? What textbooks or course material were used? Was a proctor needed for the exams?

 

I applied and was accepted into the program, albeit the Spanish option. My understanding was that the program was academically rigorous, and there were no proctored exams. However, you are required to take a written test in a second Romance Language besides the one you are studying. I never enrolled because the program and the university are going through changes at the moment. And there is a lingering uncertainty about the MA in Romance Languages.
