2 years and I just submitted my dissertation! The degree is from University College Dublin and I am ecstatic.. relieved.. just happy to be done. It wasn't easy, but nothing worth doing ever is... so.. to quote a song... :bananaONE! :banana: Next? No courses on the horizon as of yet. I'm taking a year off (at least that is the plan) and then we'll see!

For many years (don't know if still), the phrase used at commencement in the UK was, "BlueMason (or whatever your name might be), I welcome you to the fellowship of honourable men." And so say we all.
Thanks all. UCD enjoys a great rep (it's in the top 2% of Universities globally) and I completed their Masters in Computing Forensics. The programme itself was, as expected, a lot of work; what made it more work was that instead of writing exams in December and June, I wrote all first and second year exams in June due to the travel costs. The vast majority of Professors were engaging and helpful, but like in most institutions, there is always one that isn't and UCD is no exception. Overall, I enjoyed it - traveling to Dublin twice for exams (although they now have a test centre in the US) were highlights and the Irish are wonderful people. The campus is quite awesome and they offer a PhD if I ever were to decide to go that route, but not for the near future If anyone has any specific questions re UCD, by all means, post and I'll be happy to share my experience.
