HR PRO wrote, yesterday, regarding California Coast, "CCU is a Diploma Mill, It looks like California is looking to shut them down, Article in the OCR. "

An article in the Orange County Register on this matter would be big news indeed (at least for this forum). I tried to find something on the newspaper's website (www.ocregister.com) without success.* Could you either provide a link or a quote or at least a date citation, please. Thank you.

    * On the OCR site, there was an ad saying "Get Your Degree at the Graziadio School." It's a part of an RA university -- but quite a charming name. Suggested slogan: "You'll say 'Thank God' when you get your degree at . . ."

This would indeed be interesting information as it would seem to point to another CCU case. Nonetheless, I am assuming as HR PRO has not posted and you have not posted any further info that it may not be accurate.

Well, not everyone visits this form every 20 minutes (or so my wife accuses me). Perhaps Mr. Pro is on holiday, this holiday weekend.

Unless I am kicked off line of course:p Can I get credit soemplace for spending time here?

But seriously, you probably can, in one of two ways.

    1. At Edison, typically if you can find a college course at another school that covers what you've done on your own, credit is available. (Steve Levicoff played this system like a pianola, to get 98 of his Edison Bachelor's credits -- public speaking, folk guitar, word processing, for instance -- which is why I've reproduced his Edison portfolio in Bears' Guide.)

So surely somewhere, among the several hundred thousand college courses out there, is at least one that involves studying educational trends on the internet, or some such.

    2. Master's thesis or term paper: "Hot Topics in Distance Learning: a content analysis of the forum at degreeinfo.com." Or many others in that direction.
