Will National University credits transfer to Cal State Sniversities?

Hi, I'm planning on going to National University and then I want to transfer over to CSU but I don't know if the credits will transfer. Has anyone that has gone to national university transferred to csu?

If they don't transfer, are there any online schools that will transfer to csu?

 

National University is a regional accredited school, and you will not have any problem transferring into California State University. They are both WASC accredited, so transferring is not a problem unless the curriculum does not match.

 

No one is going to be able to give you a better or clearer answer than what Tekman has written. It's really just that simple.

 

I attended a CSU university but did not transfer in any courses.

I suspect CSU will accept most Gen Ed courses but for more specialized courses maybe.

Why not earn courses though a California Community College: they usually transfer (my step son transferred courses from a CCC to UCSB with no problem).

I don't agree. For example, most CSU business programs are accredited by AACSB, while NU's is not. There may be significant restrictions on the number of non-AACSB credits that can be transferred into an AACSB program. Same goes for ABET and engineering/technology/computer science programs. Sure, NU is regionally accredited, but that may not necessarily be enough.

 

Perhaps, but I've been told that if you mail your transcripts under a full moon while chanting certain specific exerpts of The Divine Pymander then it will all be OK.:shhh:
