I stumbled across this Kennedy-Western alumni group on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/Kennedy-Western-University-Alumni-4087312/about It seems a few folks have used their 'degree' to get into some pretty good positions; one graduate is an Executive and claims some graduate work at Harvard Business School after getting their BS at K-W. The talk on the discussion board looks to be around how to get transcripts to verify the degrees to employers - it seems no one is having much luck. Just thought it was a bit interesting.
Interesting indeed. Also refreshing. Many forum-posts about K-W look like this: Q: Oh what shall I do? I have a degree from KW and either (a) can't get any mileage from it. OR (b) can't get my records. A: Well, you should have chosen another school... Yet in your link, we have a forum with quite a few KW grads holding impressive positions. And the records situation seems encouraging. To quote Gerald Johnson, head of the KW Alumni effort (and also CEO of Cherokee Health Services): "Its been a rough few months, but come August 1 we will have an online registrar where you can request transcripts. There will also be online verification for employers..." Sounds like he's getting it done. Impressive. Johann
