Hello All: I am in Canada and considering completing a doctorate program from Walden University - specifically the one in Human Services. Is the school a good/reputable one? Do you know how I can find out if the degree from Walden will be recognised in Canada? Any suggestions you provide will be greatly appreciated. Day MSW
Walden is reputable but expensive. A friend of mine is writing her PhD dissertation in Counseling Psychology. I remember when she began her course work several years ago. Her writing skills were a bit rusty but now she's doing well. She did traveled a few places to meet professors and student colleagues for short residencies. She is now doing her field work in a hospital. Years ago, I thought about doing the PhD in Public Administration at Walden, but it cost about 50K. That turned me off. You may as well go to a B&M school for that money. But Walden has quality DL PHD programs.
