Can you name some schools with pretty liberal transfer credit limits for master's degree programs? The highest I have heard of so far is 12-18 and I know 18 is mostly unheard of.

Amberton University -up to 12 (regionally accredited)
Columbia Southern University- up to 18 (DETC accredited)

How else do you guys have to ad (regional or national colleges welcome)

    Didn't we just do this?

I believe Amberton is the leader among RA schools.

AMU/APU takes a bunch as well.

Many schools will allow up to 6, but that wasn't your question.

American Sentinel University allows up to 50% of Master's degree requirements to be transferred in. They're nationally accredited, though.

That rectangular box up there in the upper right of your screen, with a magnifying glass next to it, is what we experts call a "search engine."** It works pretty well, which is (for instance) how I just found transfer.org.

I was going to name a few RA schools that accept 15 transfer credits, but never mind.

Besides the search box, I often like – for this sort of question and many others – to do site-specific searches at a search engine like Google. The Google query

    maximum transfer master site:degreeinfo.com

will almost immediately turn up about 445 results. This is to say about 445 pages of discussion from DegreeInfo. Some answer the same question directly; many others are closely related and might be interesting.

We do seem to do it often, things change though so new schools might pop up. Anyway, Excelsior takes 15.

    Aren't you clever

John Bear. Love your Lone Ranger comment. I know what a search engine is, don't feel like using it as new information comes in, things change, and I prefer a fresh question. That's my way. If people don't choose to answer, they simply don't have to. Hi O:bandit: Silver Away!

ERAU accepts 12 to 15 semester units towards their masters degree but that quantity might be negotiable.
    Transfer Credit | Embry-Riddle Worldwide

I suspect that private colleges are more likely to negotiate than state colleges.

Also a college might allow you to include excess credits to your degree transcript - e.g MS with 36 units where the standard MS might have 30 units. (Excelsior did this for me for my BS.)
