I was inquiring about Patten today with a rep online and asked about upcoming programs. The rep did confirm that a program in child development was in the works to be launched this year. It sounded as if that program was at the bachelor level but that there were other masters level programs in the works as well. Another thing the the rep confirmed for me was that veterans do receive a 5% discount (I believe I read this somewhere else as well). The rep also stated that they are set to have their first MBA graduates this year and that the program takes about 1-1.5 years to complete (without transfer credits) and that most courses take students 6-8 weeks.

I really like what I'm seeing so far from Patten.

I tried Patten and just remember what I'm telling you. If it sounds too good to be true, "it is". The writing part of each class was long but possible. Their proctored exams did not match up with any of the material they give you. If you like multiple choice questions that are all written by people who do not have your course material, you might like Patten. Most of the exams were 50 questions and all were designed to trick you, not test your knowledge. The instructors are totally useless and will not help you with questions about the exams. They're not allowed. Good luck, but be warned.

Patten people will tell you if you know the concepts you can pass their exams. It's sort of like giving somebody a dictionary and telling them now you should be able to speak English.
