Hello. Can you name 8:bandit: of the easiest upper-level Dantes/DSST and Excelsior/UEXEL and whatever else type of tests they have out there that will fulfill the upper-level requirements for Excelsior Colleges liberal arts bachelor's degree. I am looking for classes that consist of arts, sciences/mathematics I think.

I think that if you read through some of the threads on our CLEP, DANTES, etc. forum you'll find your answer.

I don't have an exact link but Sanantone has published excellent plans for meeting Excelsior degree requirements.

Only you can decide which exams are easy and which are hard because the difficulty of exams is dependent on your existing knowledge and your ability to absorb new knowledge.

I only have plans for TESC.

Your only test options are basically DSSTs, Uexcels, and TECEPs. Ohio University and CSU-Global offer some competency exams, but those will be much more expensive. DSSTs are generally easier than Uexcels and TECEPs. I agree with Ian Anderson in that the difficulty of the exam is based on your existing knowledge and strengths and weaknesses. I have a background in the social sciences, so those exams are easy for me. I also have a good understanding of business, so I've been able to score high on those exams with little study.

This website has a pretty good ranking of the difficulty of exams.

Here is how Excelsior transcribes tests. DSST and CLEP equivalencies start on p. 25.

It really depends on what you know. I thought ECEs for Adulthood and Aging and Gerontology were pretty easy, I got an A and B. I also thought the TECEP for Abnormal Psych was pretty easy. I studied for all three and did well. However, I'm 100 years old, so some of the stuff I knew from living my life. If you are younger, it might not be as intuitive.
