    Hello everyone,

I remember reading an old aed thread (a couple of them actually) that talked about a study or research into ra schools admitting na students into a grad program. However, it appears (at least based on my admittedly lacking research skills) that this idea was never fully explored, or if it was, not published (with the exception of the article on this site which covered cosc, tesc, et. al.) Then again, I also remember reading that in many cases, higher echelon schools with little to prove, might be more accepting of na taking into consideration other factors. However, this is where I am at a dead end. Not a whole lot has specifically been said about this except the tried and true bromide about ra is probably the only choice (as far as I can tell, please correct me if I am wrong)

Did any in depth study take place, and if it did, can you point me in the right direction to locate some info?

    Always appreciated,

    Tony

Yes, it did. John Bear surveyed admissions officials and presented the findings at an AACRAO meeting in Seattle. I suspect you will find a detailed description of the survey's results in the next edition of Bears' Guide, but that's just my opinion.

    Thanks Rich.

I guess I'll just have to wait and get the book. I really need a Bear's guide anyway.
