I like the concept very much. I like anything that has the potential to enable people to make a decent living, even if for some finite period - not necessarily an entire working life. I'm not sure I like the word nanodegree. (Sounds much better than mini-degree, though. :smile: ) These are more like in-depth, highly-focused skill certificates than degrees. And "stackable" is a good word. You'd probably need several to get through the normal number of working years and that's fine. I'd think it would be really great if you could pay for your nano-degree in pico-dollars. :smile: Johann
I think they'd have to hire some. Seeing that AT&T put significant money into the program -- wouldn't it be somewhat embarrassing for them if they didn't hire at least a few? Johann
You'd think, but many large corporations seem to have awfully high embarrassment thresholds, don't they? onder:
