Georgetown University's SCS Master Degree Online

Georgetown University's School of Continuing Studies is launching Master of Professional Studies in Technology Management with several concentrations. I received the announcement today. The program will start spring 2015.

"Technology Management Alumni:

I write to share an exciting update in the School of Continuing Studies’ program offerings. On Monday, June 16th, SCS will announce the Spring 2015 launch of an online Masters of Professional Studies degree in Technology Management. This online program will have the same degree requirements and meet the same learning goals as the on-campus program from which you graduated. The online program will continue to be aligned with Georgetown’s Jesuit values and mission and will allow us to offer the same kinds of courses with distinguished faculty you experienced to a new community of students around the country.

The current on-campus program and the new online program will be managed and supported separately. During the launch phase, students will apply to either the on-campus or online program and will not be able to take courses between the programs. This will aid in academic planning, course development, and overall logistics as the online program develops. We hope to allow for flexibility in the future so that students may be able to take classes between the two modalities.
