I have just earned my Associate's degree online from Indiana Wesleyan University and am looking to go for my Bachelor's in Marketing next. I have done a lot of research and have narrowed it down to two schools. Indiana Wesleyan and Huntington University.

The easy road would be to continue at Indiana Wesleyan since I am familiar with the format and I don't have to worry about credits transferring. It would also allow me to earn a certificate in Communications along with my Bachelor's degree in Marketing. However, it is a little more expensive ($417 per credit hour plus books) and I really want to make sure I choose the best school for me for this degree.

Huntington University is much smaller but gets good rankings on multiple lists. They have the same 5-week classes and their marketing program even includes graphics and social media (I don't see that IWU's does). They are a little cheaper at $408 per credit hour (after technology fee) and books are included in the cost. I have just sent them an unofficial transcript to determine if all of my credits from my associate's degree will transfer.

Does anyone know enough to compare the two schools? I can't find a reason really to choose one over the other. They are pretty balanced in their pros and cons.

The cost difference is not that much - you perhaps could cover that cost difference by buying used books, forgoing that Starbucks coffee, dropping features from your cell phone, one less restaurant meal a month, etc.

If you are happy with your teaching staff then stick with Wesleyan - you can select some of them for your upper division courses.

Take the "easy road" so you can concentrate on your studies.

No, the cost doesn't amount to much, maybe a few thousand dollars overall. But the more I think about it the more I have trouble with choosing between the curriculum. Huntington seems to offer more of what I'm interested in in their classes for the degree. There will be a focus on branding and public relations which I am interested in learning more about. However, IWU has a basic business class schedule but will allow me to earn a BS in Marketing AND a certificate in Communications. I wish they weren't so equal.
