Good day to everybody, I am looking for affordable tuition fee for online MBA, meanwhile it should be accredited, regardless where is the university is any clue
Western governors university, no frills, regional accreditation, self paced so you can really bring the cost down if you apply yourself. $3000/6 months as many classes as you can finish. 12 months is suitable, I found 18 months to be almost leisurely.
For the next couple weeks this one might be the lowest cost in the US: The Graduate School at ILM This one is good if you go real real fast, otherwise just okay: New Charter University - A 100% Online Accredited University, Designed For You If you search for threads on Indian universities there were some pretty low cost that were found, i can't remember them off the top of my head. UNISA is pretty low cost: Unisa Online There are other but these are the lowest cost I know of..
Ed mentioned Indian Universities. Best deal I know of is here: Don Bosco Global | DBU Global Don Bosco University is fully UGC approved. 2-year distance MBA is $1,850 complete (pays for both years!) for most outside of India. If you're an Indian resident, Indian overseas or SAARC country resident, it's even cheaper. It's mentioned in this thread. http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/47828-another-good-school-india.html Johann
Jaipur National University thank you Ed Edwards thanks Johann I think i will go for the Indian Universities, specifically Jaipur National University
I just checked Jaipur National's fee schedule. The MBA - two years, 20 courses, is about 18,500 Rs per year. That's $308 US per year! Taher, do you know if this rate applies to students outside of India? Do you know if the University has exam facilities outside of India? A $616 MBA from a school with complete, legit accreditation in its own country. And Indian degrees from properly credentialed schools usually travel pretty well. Provided it's open to those outside India, JNU could be the distance-education "find" of the century! Johann
I concur with Johan. If this is indeed the price, and it is open to those outside of India, then yes it would be an awesome find. Heck, I may be tempted in doing my MBA through them. That price is just too good to pass up.:smokin:
MBA fee at Jaipur National University is more like $2,600, which is still a good deal. Master in Design Management | Master Degree Courses | MBA Degree I've been looking pretty hard at Amity University, which lets you make payments each semester.
You're right, TCord. I was looking at another page and the fees must have been for Indian students only. Someone else quoted the same price ($2600) you mentioned, for students outside India in this thread, first post. http://www.degreeinfo.com/general-distance-learning-discussions/47828-another-good-school-india.html Still pretty good, but can be matched at other good Indian schools. Johann
The UNISA MBA is not presently offered, e.g., “…is in the process of being re-accredited.” Unisa Online - MBA - Master of Business Administration The MBL is the alternative offering. Unisa Online - MBL - Master of Business Leadership
And, the UNISA MBL is not entirely a distance program. The program, in additional to its DL component, also requires compulsory attendance study schools held in Midrand SA.
If you are not looking at US-based schools (or even if you do, for that matter), you have to define "Affordable" and "Accredited". Often they mean different things to different people.
Get educated.com - MBA list Here is a good resource for finding an inexpensive US - based MBA: Online Degree Search Results: 387 Accredited Online MBA Degree Programs | GetEducated.com Good luck!
Lowest cost of the 387 listed is New Charter U. (former Andrew Jackson U.) at just under $8,000. Obviously, GetEducated hadn't yet heard from ILM. This is a totally different cost schedule from the foreign schools we've discussed. Different league, different ballpark. No surprise. Johann
As far as cost goes, the MBA program at the University of Louisiana at Monroe comes to mind. When you say "accredited" are you referring to primary accreditation (national/ regional) or program accreditation (AACSB/ ACBSP)? Unless you specify, anyone here can throw out the name of any university offering an MBA for cheap which might not be what you really want. A Pug who earned an MBA (for the right price) comes to mind. . .
