Need advice which mba program to go with. I want a program that is easy to get into, no gmat, accreddited, won't work me to death, a name that won't cause everyone who hears it to burst into fits of uncontrollable laughter (& won't break the bank).
I'm considering U of Phoenix even though pricey, they have a location near me in Silicon Valley. All advice is welcome thanks for helping out.

I would highly recommend getting a copy of Bears' Guide to the Best MBA's by Distance Learning, available through Amazon. The MBA is perhaps the most widely available distance learning degree, and it can be a headache wading through all the options.

U of Phoenix does seem to meet your needs, based on what I've seen & read, but they are very expensive. The few bucks you invest in the book will repay itself many times over to find the right program.

Any idea how the Touro degree is looked at in the professional world? Regarding these others and Phoenix included is this something to consider, or once it isn't Wharton or Harvard, as long as it is RA is that good enough?

I would offer that their are a few more strata than that.

I suspect in most situations where the source of your degree won't be too scrutinized, one from either of those two schools would serve just as well as one from any of a bunch of other schools most people have never heard of.

This topic has been discussed previously. A search of the board I'm sure would turn up many points of view, including many of the ones being repeated here.
