While researching some universities in India, I came across a service called EduKart. It allows you to enroll and immediately begin taking classes in bachelor and master degree programs with select colleges in India. It was launched by former Facebook and EduComp employees.

During on online chat last night, I asked if the entire programs can be taken online, and I was told exams for the bachelor degrees must be taken in India, but MBA programs are completely online. They are partnered with a U.S. university, so I asked if exams could be taken there and I'm awaiting an answer by email. The prices for BBA and MBA programs can't be beat.

Is this something like an IACI Canada for the universities of India? Also, is anyone familiar with any of the universities mentioned on the site?

As another point of interest, there are degree programs beyond the business ones! The generic MA programs at the three universities have specialisations in English, education, and a few other topics. For the listed price, this is extremely tempting, even if only for an experiment. What does the rest of DI think?

I heard back from EduKart, and it seems you have to go to India to take the exams for these degree programs, including the masters degree programs.

Personally, I think I'm going to enroll at Amity. They allow you to take the exams online, and all of the study materials are online as well.
