I ckecked a couple of schools and found that most doctrine work requires 44 to 60 credits beyond a Masters Degree. Is this standard?

The norm is 90 hours beyond the bachelor's degree. In some places I've seen 84 hours. The NSU DBA program, for example, is 60 hours and assumes an MBA (normally 36-60 hours, depending on the school).

    Thanks - Andy

In the programs that I have seen 60 is the standard. Touro has a 40 credit (??) hour Ph.D. in Health Science. That is the lowest I have seen.

D.Min.'s range around 36 credit hours after a 90 credit hour Masters degree (ie 126 graduate credits on top of a 120 credit hour B.A.)

The D.Min. (Christian Counseling) program I am enrolled in at ACCS is 60 credit hours on top of a Masters in Counseling.

My apologies. I got into posting and then realized that I had drifted from your original question which was restricted to Ph.D (I assume in business) & DBA's.

    In a word--Yes.
