If I post similar threads twice, I sincerely apologize... I've waited quite a while, but the forum isn't showing that my original question posted...

Anyway, I already teach English at a community college and have a Master's from a regionally accredited college.

However, I really want to start teaching political science, too.

I already have six political science graduate hours... As most of you know, though, most colleges want you to have 18 hours to be an adjunct.

I'd like to know the absolute cheapest way possible to get the other 12 hours graduate hours I need in political science courses.

As long as the school is RA and the courses are offered online, I'm not picky at ALL! Any ideas or suggestions for getting those 12 hours will be greatly appreciated.

I don't care how off-beat your suggestions are, either! I'll do anything it takes to get those 12 hours for as cheaply as possible!

Money is my only concern. I need cheap, cheap, cheap online graduate hours in political science. That's it.

    Welcome.

Be more patient with waiting for a post to get through moderation. A 30 minute timeline isn't realistic when you create a thread in the middle of the night/wee hours of the morning.

With out doing any research and only relying on my sketchy memory (and that's being overly generous) I would mention Western New Mexico University. I know a couple of members have attended there and they have some Poly Sci courses. They're also pretty cheap too.

The New Mexico universities charge low, in-state tuition rates for non-residents, but this is limited to 6 credits per semester. Fort Hays State University charges $246.90 per credit hour for all virtual students.

    I apologize

Sorry-- I didn't take the time of my posting into account. That makes sense.

State universities in the Great Plains states have a rep for being very affordable. Take a look at Fort Hays State University www.fhsu.edu and the University of Nebraska at Omaha www.unomaha.edu.
