Scarily accurate commercial if for-profit universities were honest.

It's not really accurate, not even in a satirical way, but it does remind me of my experience with University of Phallus. I told them I wanted to become a history teacher, and they enrolled me in an associates program in business. Supposedly, I would be able to knockout most of my general education credits with the associates. That wasn't the case. The program had a lot of business courses that would only count as free electives in a history program. At the time, I don't even think that Western Insidious University or University of Phallus had bachelors programs in history or education. Other than that, this satirical piece wasn't that accurate when it talked about taking courses that have nothing to do with your major. For-profits are pretty straight to the point and offer very little options, if any options, when it comes to general education courses and free electives. Courses in rock and roll are, honestly, usually offered at prestigious universities and liberal arts colleges.

There were no responses to this thread, but this "commercial" is hilarious, although, very exaggerated. It actually gets funnier the more I watch it.

Have to agree. Even the Chronicle of Higher Education was impressed.

What if traditional universities advertised like the for-profits .... ?
