Seeking information on Penn State MPS in Homeland Security

Hi all,

I recently finished my BA in International Relations from the University of Texas at Austin and I'm curious to learn about the MPS in Homeland Security from Penn State (online program at world campus).

I'd like to hear from anyone who has applied, enrolled, or graduated from this program in any of the five options offered. I'm most interested in the base HLS option but I'm considering the Information Security option as well. I've seen a few posts from one user on this board who underwent the program and they were helpful.

I have prior military service but my GI Bill is completely wiped out from undergrad, so I'll be using student loans on this one.

Would also like information on having the GRE waived if anyone has done that also.

Are you still in Texas? While not as prestigious, Angelo State University offers a few online options for a lot less than Penn State for Texas residents. They also don't require the GRE.

They have a homeland security program.

I am still in Texas but officially I'm a resident of Illinois. Thanks for the Angelo State suggestions. I was stationed in San Angelo once and am somewhat familiar with their offerings, but I'm specifically interested in the PSU program right now. Have you taken any of these online courses at Angelo State?
