Anyone know of a MA in Liberal Studies or Master of Liberal Arts/Studies with tuition of less than $250 per credit hour? A friend is looking, and while, I know of several MALS programs, I don't know of any with tuition that low.

Fort Hays State University charges $246.90 per credit hour, and you don't have to worry about semester credit limitations for in-state tuition for non-residents like at the New Mexico universities.

WNMU has a MAIS degree with tuition around $208 per unit for out-of-state residents provide they stay within six semester units per semester:

Two members of this forum have earned this degree.

I agree with Ian, WNMU is a great inexpensive choice provided you meet the requirements. I would have recommended TCU, however, they are expensive ($700 per credit hour). :banghead:

WNMU is fine if you want to go extra slow.

I don't understand this statement? You can go as slow or as fast as you like. I started my MAIS in the Summer '12 term and graduated, with honors, in Fall '13. ~1.5 years doesn't really qualify as "slow" for a 36 c/h Master's...

I think there are more than two; maybe 3 or 4 now. :)
