Huge news!!! (for me)

    I came home today to find my certification letter in the mail from TESC :beerchug: I am not just done anymore- I'm officially done!

    I'm prepping for some long overdue pay rate negotiations with the client I do the most contract work for (it's currently 100% of my income). I'm hoping for a $10/hr increase all things considered but am confident it will be at least $5.

    In other news, I just bought a car today. The first I've owned in six years! Early 00's Honda Civic VP with less than 100k miles. The dealer was a stubborn guy during negotiations, but I got him to go down from his original fairly high price to $300 below kbb value. All in all, it's a Civic, so it's not unreasonable to think I'll be middle aged before I need to find another car.

    What a huge day!

    Maniac, congrats on being finished! I have been reading about your adventures for the past few years, and some of your actions helped inspire me to follow my own educational path. I knew you would get done and I am glad you did. When do you start applying for a masters program?

    I'm working on two certs, learning a trade, trying to find time to polish two languages, knocking items off of my reading list, planning on training for memory and mental calculation competition and still working very hard on getting sick pack abs despite working very hard on drinking six pack beers.
