Has anyone taken the comprehensive exam for Criminal Justice at AMU?

I really have no idea what to expect for this exam or what it is. The description for the class on the AMU website is extremely vague. I've been tempted to switch to the Thesis option instead. I'll be deployed during the time when I want to take the exam, so I won't really be able to bring all my books with me. Any tips? Thanks.
