Good Morning, I hesitated in posting this question. Seeking a Grad program that would be generous in accepting credits from another RA program. This can be a Bible College. This is purely for salary advancement. Hille

Hello, I forgot to add this could be foreign if it is a sound institution. Thanks for the thoughts. Hille

    Hille:

    What is your budget?
What area did you study before?
How many credits are you potentially transferring?
What area do you work in right now?

Try a top-up master from a uk university. Cheap, generous and credible. Most top-ups are two courses plus a paper for under $5k.

Fort Hays 18 credits Liberal Arts to transfer.....A friend has 22 in Special Education. Many thanks for the positive feedback. What UK situations are you suggesting? Budget must be under 10 K.

Amberton University is regionally accredited and will accept 12 credits in transfer. They offer a MA in Professional Development which is essentially an extremely flexible, self-designed program, so you can select your major or multiple areas of concentration. There are two required courses, the remaining 10 are electives. Your courses can fall within the areas of Business, Communication, Counseling, Human Behavior & Development, Human Resources & Training, Psychology, Religion, Ethics, or Sociology. The school is very liberal in their acceptance of transfer credit, even if the transfer courses don't exactly fall within the aforementioned areas. For example, they will accept courses in Law, I assume under the Business grouping.

If you transfer 4 courses into the degree program, your remaining tuition would be $5800. You would also have the added benefit of being able to select the remaining 8 courses from subject areas that were of interest to you.

Thanks for the information on that option. Also wondering about the UK situation since is acceptable to have foreign degrees in the public school setting. Thanks for the thoughts. Hille

Top-ups are more popular with business programmes. RF familiar with these.
I found this link for education.

Good Morning, So far I have not found a Top Up that has a Liberal Arts Masters but am expanding my search to worldwide. I also had another thought of suggesting a DETC school since the credits are nearing the 7 years and then expanding from there. Although the DETC would not count for salary advancement it may keep the credits alive academically. Thoughts? Hille
