Cool thread topic! I've considered taking this up myself, but the BLS projects that watch/clockmaking is on the steep decline as a field. It's pretty obvious why might that be so. Then again, if NOBODY becomes a watch/clockmaker for that reason and SOME people still need their services, you (or whomever you are asking on behalf of) could make some mad dollaz. Then again-again, it is a neat hobby and quite the impressive/cool skill to have. If it's the training and not the degree that matters, you might be surprised what you find in your library- mine has about a dozen books on the subject. I've also seen a number of YouTube videos on it as well. Those are the two most conspicuously inconspicuous resources for just about anything :yup:
