Has anyone here recently done the MLS at Excelsior?

I'm trying to find a forum, or gathering place of some kind, for Excelsior students to
exchange info. Getting accurate, useful info from Excelsior is pretty much not going to happen. Excelsior people are, near as I can tell, just too busy to deal with individuals.

So, anyone in this community who is familiar with the program in recent years?

    Thanks.

I'm not -- but "degreeforum-dot-net" is largely for people studying through Excelsior or the two other Big 3 schools. Nice people! You said you were looking for a forum, so I suggest you have a look there.

    Just a warning:
Hardly anyone on that forum has completed a master's at Excelsior. Most of them completed a bachelor's degree there or at similar schools and moved on to a cheaper or more prestigious school for their master's degrees.

If you're looking for an MLS, then I recommend looking at cheaper schools such as Fort Hays State University or Baker University (not Baker College).

The problem is that Excelsior is the only school I can find that is RA and will take 10 year old grad courses.
I figure by the time I finish it will have run me around 10 grand. But, it is practical if all you want (and that is all I want)
is the word Master's on the resume line that asks for education. Honest to God, it is absurd, but you can't apply to be a dog walker these days without an MA.

I did the MAIS in English and Writing at Western New Mexico University WNMU for less than $10,000. I highly recommend this school and they have several options for the areas of study.
