It's probably that Mr. Kruger is qualified for his promotion, given his MSW from Rutgers. Why, I wonder, does he feel the need to flaunt a "mill" degree on top of it?

And WHY would Baker, an RA school, feel the need to call him Dr.?

 

Quite possibly this is another example that an unaccredited degree will benefit a person in the world of education and business.

Actually I had a high fever (107) related to the flu, but am feeling much better know. For three days I hallucinated about having degrees from various degree mills--talk about a nightmare.

I am amused when I see mills that say they use no text but the bible (and that KJV).

Somewhat off topic but I noticed there is a new version coming out which is trying to make inroads in the Evangelical Community. It is the English Standard Version that is supposed to emphasize word for word accuracy. Any feedback on it or which manuscripts it is based on?

The ESV may indeed make inroads into certain KJV Only havens, especially if the publisher can obtain a copyright date of 1611.

Well, let's see, he has an earned doctoral degree. Perhaps this is why.

This version is really has nothing new to offer. It's out of the Tyndale-KJV tradition and reportedly uses ancient Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek manuscripts. Unless any new translation is based on the Aramaic exclusively it is worthless in my opinion.

Greetings! Let me respond to some questions and comments. The PhD is from Bethany, Dothan, AL. This is really the only post-graduate degree I list when I see any need to list degrees. The DSW is from http:www.scm.edu and the PsyD is from Summit, which I have stated on here months' ago. The latter were for personal edification, learning and knowledge and for no other reason. The most difficult course I took at Summit was statistics. I took the Summit courses to research the new therapeutic techniques as well as learn about the newest and latest psychological research. The DSW was basically a Christian social work degree since Christian social work is a developing field (http://www.nacsw.org). I DO NOT present myself as a psychologist but a minister and pastoral counselor as the PhD from Bethany was in pastoral counseling. As most of you know I haven't used any titles or degrees on here since its inception until my recent post earlier today. I felt somewhat provocative since some on here are still somewhat closed-minded concerning any school that is not "government-recognized." I have not had anything to do with the General Conference of Evan. Prot. Chs. in nearly two years. It was "taken over" by fundamentalists so I left and got involved with The Evangelical Christian Church, Inc. Have a nice day everyone and remember, you have your opinions and I have mine; debating the issues keeps America free and strong, to paraphrase Hannity and Colmes.

This is old and I didn't write this.

I asked for it to be removed from the school's web site and catalog.

Furthermore, it doesn't say I am a psychologist anymore than Jay Haley, not a psychiatrist, claimed to be when he was clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Maryland and other schools.

Why are you dragging things up from the past? When are people going to allow one to move on?
