Does anyone have info on a program offering master's degree level prior learning assessment? Credit from actual courses I know can transfer, but I mean credit from prior learning experiences, primarily for MBA type credit? Thanks for any ideas. Cdw
If you know your stuff, perhaps you can pass exams for the Heriot-Watt MBA quickly. Otherwise, prior learning assessment is something found at the undergraduate level, not the postgraduate one.
Central Michigan has this option, perhaps such credit could be applied to the MSA which is available online. Prior Learning Credit from CMU Global Campus
The University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, IN, does permit PLA at the graduate level. I just approved two PLA's for a student. You can find our policy here: Prior Learning Assessment | Office of the Registrar | University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne, Indiana Good luck!
If your graduate degree has a thesis or project option then you can use prior learning/experience/knowledge there. I did so for both my masters degrees. It makes for an easier thesis path.
