Hello, I saw this posted in a magazine we receive. Welcome. I am unsure if there is any new information but there is a option for scholarships and military discounts. Hille

This is strictly a union members' deal - for Communications Workers of America. From the site:

"The following degree programs are made available specifically for CWA members (emphasis mine - J) through our strategic partnership with Bismarck State College, A top 25 rated school from the U.S. News and World Report Magazine. The courses may all be taken as part of a degree plan or you may elect to take just a few for college credit and certification. All credit seeking members must contact BSC to speak with an advisor."

I guess the rest of us (non-CWA members) deal direct with Bismarck State College. I see BSC has online courses, but I'm not sure, from what's on the site, whether an entire degree can be completed by distance. Here's what they say:

"BSC's online offerings include many general education and elective courses, as well as extensive technical courses that, depending on the curriculum, lead to Program Certificates, Associate in Applied Science degrees, Associate in Arts degrees or a Bachelor of Applied Science degree."

Yes, the individual courses do "lead to a degree." No problem there. But does Bismarck State College have sufficient on-line courses available, that a complete degree can be earned by distance? They only have one page of distance-ed info, so I'm thinking maybe not yet. Anyone know for sure?
