Well I'm intrigued. Just heard from Howard Gray, a long-time reader whom I met at a lecture I gave in London. He has discovered that the LL.B. offered by the well-established and highly reputable Cardiff Law School in Wales can be earned in 3 to 4 years after high school (some residency, some on-line), and qualifies holders to take the Bar exam in New York and in California. In other words, from high school graduation to the bar exam in four years instead of the typical eight.

Mr. Gray has written a 160-page book on how to do this, Law in Four, and has authorized me to send free copies (PDF version) to anyone who requests one. I am happy to do this, with the proviso that you provide some feedback. This is new territory for me, and I welcome comments, but if it really is achievable, it is worthy of wider attention, and possibly the publishing of his book in the US.

You can learn more and buy it for $14 on Amazon (here: Law In Four: Mr Howard R Gray: 9781463693220: Amazon.com: Books), or get it free from me.

Requests to [email protected], and give me the email address to which to send it.

Intriguing indeed. It looks like it would cost around $50k to get the LLB, about half that if you qualify for the scholarships. I wish this option would've been available years ago. I'll read the pdf and report back to everyone. Overall right now it looks like quite a find.
