Verdict in Utah fake degree (and adultery, gun, porno, etc.) case of CEO

    The CEO of a large medical manufacturing company was fired for his business performance as well as the above-named matters. He sued for breach of contract, and (verdict just in) lost on all counts except one minor one. The judge agreed that his LaSalle degree was fake, but said it was immaterial, in part because the company did not do due diligence (and relied on the large head-hunting firm's evaluation).     I believe that a fake degree being touted by someone is frequently (usually?) just the tip of the iceberg. That when one looks a little closer you will find a character that is unethical, immoral, deceitful, and probably unpleasant. :)
