    Hi,

I am going to apply for the LLM Distance Learning, I have many questions regarding the exams.

In the official website it looks I can do everything online but I would like to know if someone have experience with this kind of educational form and exams.

    On the official site:

How will the course be assessed?

    2 assignments per module:
    Assignment 1: 3,000 words (40%)
    Assignment 2: 5,000 words (60%)
    18,000 word dissertation

What do you think about it? Can someone tell me more about this kind of assignments?

Maybe you could provide a link to the university degree program. That way we can really look it over.

    Hi,

    Yes, exactly this one.

Can someone give me a feedback?

Stepheneurope, I think the best bet would be to contact the school by phone or email to confirm whether the program is 100 percent assignment and thesis submission without semester and/or sessional exams. But if what you desire is info about how distance learning works, then there are many here who can help you out. With the University of London International Programmes, students, upon enrolment, are sent study materials with which they study and prepare for exams. Exams take place in London or at the British Council nearest to the student.

    Hi,

I am currently in a distance learning master with Uni of Southampton. My program is basically similar to yours (except that mine has online presentations and poster assignment). If based on the given info, your workload will just be coursework based i.e. 2 assignments per module plus a final dissertation. This may be good or bad. Like in my current program, there is no requirement for me to interact with my fellow classmates. In fact, this is perfect for me as I may not have the time to participate in e.g. online forum/discussion.

I think you might have to take note how is this program delivered as well as what type of support are they providing. My current program include recorded lectures and guided readings (they also sent me primary textbooks). For each semester, there will be at least one Skye session with your assigned academic mentor. Currently, I am in the dissertation stage and they provide supports by having Skype sessions to discuss about my progress and so on. Hope that I have given you some idea how your program might be like. Maybe you can ask more specific questions and I will try to answer it.
