Penn Foster is nationally accredited by DETC. It can be difficult to find regionally accredited schools that will accept NA credits. Things might have changed, but I recall Liberty University, APUS, WGU, and University of Phoenix accepting NA or DETC credits. Excelsior College might consider NA credits, but they are more accepting of ACE approved credits. Charter Oak State College and Thomas Edison State College will not accept NA credits. They will only accept courses from Penn Foster that are ACE approved. In other words, TESC and several other schools will only accept the courses in the general education certificate that are currently ACE approved.

You have to click on the course and check the date to make sure the course is presently approved.
