What do you consider expensive? Can you give us price range (in US dollars) that you're comfortable with? There is American College of Education and California Coast University that might work for you; they are both pretty cheap.

Since your are from the African continent, and for the cost effective route. I would recommend South African's colleges and universities. The University of South Africa (UNISA) is one of the good school for that matter. I once thought about UNISA's Ph.D program, but the admission for a American student is a bit .

The problem is finding a degree that others will recognize as legitimate, the cheap and free degrees usually do not meet this goal. I agree with TEKMAN above, UNISA is the cheapest legitimate option that I know of. I have no experience with it, but I have heard from others on this board that it is difficult to get through there. Maybe others can shed some more light or correct that notion.
