Scores range from positive 3.0 to negative 1.0. All private colleges that award federal student aid must participate in the test, which is based on information from their audited financial statements. The department develops a composite score on a scale of positive 3.0 to negative 1.0, based on financial ratios that measure factors such as net worth, operating losses, and the relationship of assets to liabilities. Institutions with scores of 1.5 to 3 pass. Those below are subject to additional oversight and, in some cases, must post letters of credit.

Big distance provider Northcentral scored a 0.0, which is dreadful.

The financial stability of your degree provider should be one consideration in your choice.

NCU did better than Trident University International, which was one of only five private schools (out of 1,920) to get a score of -1.0
Negative one is the lowest possible score on the financial responsibility test.

I didn't see Walden on this list at all, am I missing something here?

Western International University is not on there either, but University of Phoenix is. I also don't see Colorado Technical University. I tried to look up the private colleges I've attended.

Arizona State isn't on there. American Public University System (AMU/APU) got a 3.0 and surprisingly, so did Ashford University.
