I am thinking of taking single courses for transfer to TESC . What are the groups thoughts on both ?

Straighterline is cheaper if you can finish at least one course per month. ACE has had some issues with labeling the approval of Penn Foster courses as current or expired. PF courses, however, come with free books and materials. From the reviews I've read on another forum, PF courses are probably some of the easiest courses you'll take anywhere; but, I heard that PF might add more research and writing to its courses.

SL requires a proctor for the final exam for all courses. They use an online proctor called ProctorU, which involves someone watching you take a test through a webcam. Some PF courses require a proctor and some don't. For the ones that do require a proctor, you have to get the proctor approved and wait for the test to be mailed to him or her. Oh, and some Penn Foster courses require webinars. You might be able to get that requirement waived since you're not a full PF student, but I'm not sure.
