Hi All! I've completed a Graduate-Level Certificate program and I'm wondering if anyone has heard of a Graduate Certificate-to-Master's degree completion program (similar to those offered for undergrads seeking to finish their degrees). Thank you.
The Master of Arts in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College comes to mind due to its generous credit transfer policy. Masters Degrees | MA Liberal Studies | Master Liberal Studies | Online - excelsior.edu
Check out Amberton - http://www.amberton.edu/Degrees/Graduate/PDF/MA_PROFDEV.pdf They will accept some credits in transfer - http://www.amberton.edu/Forms/Catalog/Archive/AU_Catalog_v40.pdf
Does the school you got the cert from offer a continuing masters? What's the cert in? Many programs will allow 6 credits in transfer, certificate or not
Thank you all! I shall definitely investigate your suggestions. Rebel-- My certificate is in Museum Studies, from California State University East Bay. Unfortunately they don't offer a degree in this area. I was in contact with the University of Oklahoma, which accepts credits toward their MALS: Museum Studies degree. Unfortunately they have a rigid "5-year or less" policy for transfer work (my credits are ancient: 7 years old). So I figure perhaps a degree completion program--Humanities, Liberal Studies, or Interdisciplinary--might be the way to go.
